" FICTION and REALITY" Salon Hybrid, Seekirchen/Austria
Functioning as a temporary artgroup, the four artists (Domig, Haselwandter, Moshel, Winter), spent a month working in a studio/exhibtion space in Seekirchen developing all the pieces, focusing especially on the momentary situation surrounding them. The critical discourse evolved into two major approaches: a) The temporary role and position of the group in the town. b) the responses to "art" or the "artworks" from the viewers new to current creative perspectives.

"Austrian Series" ten 52x52 acrylic on canvas. The "Austrian Series" evolved out of an intense time working with found footage from the early 50s in Austria. Mostly photographs I came across many holidaylike images of people in nature; hiking mountains, going swimming. The photographs become a mutual memory I share with these people I never knew. In kontrast to the humans who have long passed away stands the mountain as an object which has outlived all these lives and therefore is set outside the timeframe defined by the camera and becomes independent. An object not confined by the moment.

"on the edges of everydayness" Installation (cupboard, miniDV)
Dialog between media-generated body and self. Visual tangents in a modern understanding of flesh and touch. "The current form of relation is a blind search in an interconnected world of surfaces, only to find the own bedroom beeing inhabited by what turnes out to be the bleeding meat of ones soul. To stop the bloodflow it requires more than just a bandage."
